About Us
We are not policy wonks, nor are we activists. We do not want to be. We do not need to be. We are, quite simply, ‘pushers’ of condoms; distributors of a simple health product that, after abstinence, is the next best option in reducing sexually transmitted infections.

Mission
The Great American Condom Campaign mission is to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections by engaging and educating Americans about critical public and personal health issues related to condom use in the United States and abroad.

History
The Great American Condom Campaign was founded in the Fall of 2005 as a practical response to the rarely spoken about reality that Americans have the highest sexually transmitted infection (STI) rate in the entire industrialized world.
Our founders observed that most other groups in the health sector raise and spend tremendous amounts of resources on savvy media messaging, witty t-shirts, political marches and petitions, or celebrity spokespersons, all to make people, at best,  more aware of STIs.  But what about practically engaging Americans – particularly young Americans - in ways that will actually stop them from getting STIs?
The underlying principle of The Great American Condom Campaign is to make condoms easier to get, easier to use, easier to talk about, and easier to share.
No public service announcements. No petitions. No politics. No celebrities. Just condoms.
